Toodoggone drilling yields mixed results

Assay results from the first phase diamond drill program on the Golden Stranger claims has returned a 10 ft section grading 0.207 oz gold per ton, according to the joint venture partners in the Toodoggone area B.C. gold project. The intersection came from the first hole of a 5,000-ft program, which also included a 10 ft interval grading 0.04 oz.

Sutton Resources (VSE), Redfern Resources (VSE), and Rule Resources (VSE) are sharing equally in funding the project and following the assimilation of recent assay results with geologic information derived from previous drilling, the companies intend to begin a second phase program on the property.

Other holes drilled south and north of the above intercepts are expected shortly. These holes were designed to test the mineralized quartz-breccia zone at a depth of 300 to 500 ft below surface to undercut intercepts obtained last year (up to 4 ft of 0.595 oz) and to further explore the system along strike.
