Toronto-based Denison Mines (TSE) has been replaced as manager of the Quintette Coal operation in British Columbia by Vancouver mining giant Teck (TSE). “The appointment of Teck will substantially enhance the chances of a successful reorganization and the continued operation of Quintette,” said Bill James, Denison’s president and chief executive officer. Teck’s appointment as manager of the operation became effective July 15.
