Minnova cuts high grade at Seneca

Recent drilling on the Seneca property about 65 miles east of Vancouver intersected a narrow zone of rich massive sulphide mineralization.

Minnova (TSE) is earning a 51% interest in the property from International Curator Resources (VSE) by spending a total of $1.6 million and making cash payments of $300,000 by 1996.

Hole S-91-10 intersected 4.4 ft. grading 13.77% zinc, 0.84% copper, 0.42% lead, 0.019 oz. gold and 0.85 oz. silver per ton. A silicified zone in the footwall below the massive sulphide intersection graded 1.54% zinc and 0.14% copper over 62 ft.

The hole was drilled about 820 ft. west of a hole drilled in 1987 which cut 9.9 ft. grading 5.68% zinc, 0.43% copper, 1.2% lead, 0.02 oz. gold and 2.4 oz. silver.

Minnova is continuing to drill the area surrounding Hole S-91-10 on 650-ft. centres.
