A $3-million financing has boosted to $7 million the amount of funds available to Fairstar Explorations (FFR-M) for exploration in Canada and West Africa.
The junior has earmarked $1.9 million for exploration of the Fenelon gold property in the Casa Berardi region of northwestern Quebec. A 60-hole, 12,000-metre program is planned for early next year.
Drilling is already under way at the Benso gold-diamond concession in Ghana, West Africa, and the program is expected to continue until the Christmas break. Work there will resume early in the new year.
