Cold weather forces NDT Ventures to suspend winter drill program

Drilling on Project 10 in the Staghorn Lake area, 80 km northwest of Nain, Labrador, has been suspended until weather conditions improve.

NDT Ventures (VSE) has completed four holes in a program aimed at testing geophysical anomalies.

All four holes intersected zones of disseminated sulphides, with thin lenses of net-textured to interstitial sulphides hosted by anorthosites and leuconorites of the Nain Plutonic Suite.

A 1.5-metre interval in hole 10 assayed 0.21% nickel, 0.08% copper and 0.041% cobalt, while a 0.78-metre interval in hole 13 returned 0.29% nickel, 0.28% copper and 0.067% cobalt.

NDT reports that the sulphides encountered by the drilling do not appear to be sufficient to explain the strength of the ground geophysical anomalies identified.

Aranlee Resources (VSE) holds an option to earn a half interest in Project 10, with NDT as operator.
