Two undisclosed shareholders of Omega Gold (VSE) plan to exchange 331,250 escrow shares and 427,000 common shares of the company for 223,015 shares of Akiko-Lori Gold (VSE). Omega Gold has an extensive land position in the Eskay Creek region in northwestern British Columbia and has also optioned properties to other companies for cash payments and work commitments over the next four years.
Akiko-Lori said it initiated the share exchange “because of the excellent exploration potential of the properties of Omega Gold.”
The Akiko-Lori shares will be issued at a deemed prices of $3.40 per share. Under the terms of the agreement, Akiko-Lori will immediately issue 15,000 of its shares as a non-refundable deposit pending the closing scheduled for Feb. 1, 1991.
