Thunderwood Resources (TSE) and Greenstone Resources (TSE) say stepout drilling at their Scott Lake joint venture has extended a zinc-copper rich massive sulphide zone from 1,800 ft. to a depth of 2,600 ft.
Results so far indicate that the 250-300-ft.-wide mineralized zone discovered on the Chibougamau, Que., property, held equally by the companies, extends for a vertical distance of 2,000 ft.
“The area is open at depth, towards surface to the east and on strike to both the east and west, and has the potential to host significant tonnages,” according to a Greenstone report.
Assays from hole 85A, the latest hole for which results are available, include 15 ft. of 6.2% zinc, 0.2% copper and 0.3 oz. silver per ton. Drilling continues on the property.
