VANCOUVER STOCK EXCHANGE — Martin J. Reynolds, vice-president and director of Nesbitt Thomson Deacon Inc., elected chairman of the board of governors for the 1989-90 fiscal year. New to this year’s board are J.C. Lay of Wood Gundy, A.D. Godbout of Levesque Beaubien Geoffrion and C.H.J. McKnight of Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon & Co.

WIND RIVER RESOURCES — Glen Macdonald appointed president, Blake Macdonald, secretary, Dick Ainsworth and Rajinder Parhar, directors succeeding John Dupuis, Bill Dynes and Valerie Bussey who have resigned.

INTERNATIONAL PRECIOUS METALS INSTITUTE (IPMI) — Joseph A. Stevenson, executive director, operations for Johnson Matthey Plc., London, England, has been selected to receive the 1989 Distinguished Achievement Award.

AMAX GOLD — Charles E. Stott, Jr. has resigned as president, chief executive officer and a director effective June 30. Marvin K. Kaiser appointed chief financial officer.

MONTREAL TRUST — Peter Allen appointed to the board of directors.

WILD ROSE RESOURCES — Corwin Coe appointed president, P. C. Gorick, secretary and I. Borovic, director.

EQUITY PRESERVATION/ EQUITY RESERVE/EQUITY INVESTMENTS — Dr Gerald S. Carlson joining the board of directors succeeding William N. Grant who has resigned.
