Based on the results of a check assaying program on resect results as well as all historical data, Waddy Lake Resources (TSE) has calculated a preliminary reserve of 562,000 tons grading 0.43 oz. gold per ton at the Komis project. The Komis property, previously estimated to contain a reserve of 1.6 million tons grading 0.15 oz., is in the La Ronge gold belt of northern Saskatchewan.
Waddy says the five gold-bearing zones that make up the Komis deposit are all open. To date, the zones have been identified along an 820-ft. strike length and to a depth of 492 ft. Waddy is currently planning to drill a total of 20,000 ft. in a 2-phase program.
