Uranerz drilling Nevada gold play

Uranerz U.S.A. has experienced mixed results after completing several reverse circulation holes at the Slaven Canyon North project in Lander Cty., Nev.

Although the program confirmed the presence of gold mineralization, delineated by previous drilling, it failed to extend the area of known mineralization. As a result, work on the project has ceased. Exploration will now focus on the Slaven Canyon South project, 15 miles north of Placer Dome’s (TSE) Pipeline deposit. A proposed drill program would test four strong gold geochemical anomalies with surface expressions of up to 2,000 by 1,750 ft.

Takla Star Resources (ASE) can acquire up to a 40% interest in Slaven Canyon North and up to 40% of Uranerz’s total interest in Slaven Canyon South.
