Alberta-listed Shiningtree Resources has acquired nine claims in Irwin Twp., near Beardmore, Ont., where previous work uncovered several gold-bearing veins.

The company is also negotiating a joint venture on its eight leased claims in Churchill Twp., near Shining Tree, Ont. Under the joint venture, a geophysical survey will be carried out, followed by diamond drilling.
