Osisko, Clifton Star part ways at Duparquet

Four days after Osisko Mining (OSK-T) and Clifton Star Resources (CFO-V)  released a resource estimate for the Beattie deposit – part of their larger Duparquet project – Clifton Star reported that Osisko is withdrawing from the project.

Banro raises $80K for Congolese hospital

The Banro Foundation, a charity created by Canadian gold miner Banro (BAA-T, BAA-N) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has raised $80,000 for the Panzi Hospital in the eastern part of the country.
