Low gold prices have prompted Echo Bay Mines (ECO-T) to defer construction at the Aquarius gold project near Timmins, Ont. Echo Bay owns 100% of the project, which, at last report, hosted reserves of 21.7 million tons averaging 0.06 oz. gold per ton.
