Recent trends in the mining industry will be discussed at the 12th symposium of the Mineral Economic Society of the Canadian Institute of Mining Metallurgy and Petroleum.
The Jan. 22 event, to be held at Toronto’s Sheraton Centre Hotel, is called Mining in Transition: Consolidation, Returns and Shareholder Value.
Speakers from mining and related fields will give talks on consolidation, sustainable development, environmental management and joint ventures, among other topics.
