Inco completes IP survey work

Drilling is under way at a gold-copper-zinc property in Quebec’s Casa Berardi Twp., Cross Lake Minerals (VSE) and East West Resource (VSE) report.

The juniors say the exploration unit of Inco (TSE) conducted a 2-month-long induced-polarization survey and, in so doing, outlined anomalies which are believed to represent sulphide zones within the volcanic sequence. Inco can earn a 50% interest in the 301-claim property by spending $650,000 over three years, and up to an additional 15% by spending a further $750,000. Meanwhile, Cross Lake has optioned a 233-claim property in Currie and Bowman twps., 18 miles east of the Kidd Creek complex at Timmins, Ont., to Falconbridge (TSE).

The Kidd Creek owner may earn a 50% interest in the property by spending $500,000 over four years, and an additional 10% by spending a further $250,000.
