The Geological Association of Canada will conduct a summer Field Meeting in the Northwest Territories Aug 31-Sept 5, titled Yellowknife ’87.
The me eting will consist of two days of technical sessions and pre- and post-meeting field trips to N.W.T. mines and supracrustal belts. Theme of the meeting is development of archean cratons, volcanics and mineral deposits with emphasis on the Slave province.
