Funds available for Rabbit Lake review

Participants in the review of Saskatchewan’s Rabbit Lake uranium project are eligible for funding from the Federal Environmental Assessment Review Office (FEARO).

A fund of up to $125,000 is available to help the public review the project’s Environmental Impact Statement and participate in hearings. The development project is a joint venture between Cameco (TSE) and Uranerz Exploration and Mining.

FEARO says applications for funding should be received no later than Jan. 3, 1992.
