EXPLORATION ROUNDUP — Normabec explores in Argentina

Montreal-based Normabec Mining Resources (NBD-M) has acquired the rights to a 613-sq.-km land package on the Chilean border in northwestern Argentina.

Under an agreement with an Argentine company, Normabec can acquire exclusive rights to a 75% interest in 10 exploration properties in exchange for 350,000 common shares.

The properties are near the Refugio, Marte and Coipa gold deposits to the west and the Bajo La Alumbrera and Agua Rica developments to the east.

Recent exploration on the land package has identified 4 sq. km of alteration systems, as well as mineralized structures and anomalous gold values.

Normabec is now designing a follow-up program.

The agreement is subject to regulatory approval.
