Drilling begins at Doyle Lake

Five target areas in Blob Lake, at the Doyle Lake diamond project in the Northwest Territories, have been selected for drilling.

Doyle Lake is a 60-40 joint venture between Gerle Gold (GGL-V) and Monopros, the latter being the Canadian subsidary of De Beers Consolidated Mines (DBRS-Q).

A recent program of lake bottom sediment-sampling, in conjunction with previous geophysical, structural and geochemical sampling results, helped the partners narrow down its lake target selections. Blob Lake straddles the LA 5 and 6 claim blocks. Other targets in Blob Lake and surrounding areas are being evaluated.
