VANCOUVER — Avanti Mining (AVT-V) has secured a much-needed major financing for its Kitsault molybdenum mine in northern British Columbia, with five lenders agreeing to provide up to $640 million in loans.




Avanti Mining's Kitsault molybdenum project, 140 km southwest of Prince Rupert, B. C. Avanti bought the past-producing mine this summer from a subsidiary of Alcoa, and has already completed a positive scoping study on Kitsault.
