Strong drill results are convincing Group Eleven Resources’ (TSXV: ZNG) CEO Bart Jaworski that the company’s on its way to finding the Republic of Ireland’s next big zinc mine.
As it explores in Ireland’s western and central regions for the battery metal used in solar and wind power generation, Jaworski hopes the eventual production of zinc will help meet rising demand for wind farms, especially on the windy west coast.
Ireland’s strong infrastructure, clean metallurgical processes and abundant wind power also make it capable of producing the greenest zinc in the world, the CEO told The Northern Miner podcast host Adrian Pocobelli in a chat at the recent Canadian Mining Symposium in London.
