Accident at Lawyers mine

A mining accident at the Lawyers gold-silver mine in the Toodoggone District of British Columbia resulted in the death of Ken Brown, a geologist employed by the mine’s owner, Cheni Gold Mines. He was 26. Brown died when he fell 30 metres to the bottom of a mine shaft. He was working alone when the accident occurred in May. An investigation is continuing.
