The company has received results from recent drill holes on the McIlvenna massive sulphide zone. Hole 36 cut 3.5 m grading 2.7% copper, 2.9% zinc, 0.71 g per tonne gold and 25.2 g per tonne silver at the 600-m horizon. Hole 35 confirmed zinc values at the 750-m horizon striking 6.7 m grading 7.3% zinc, 0.35% copper, 0.23 gold, and 9.7 silver.
To date, mineralization has been intersected over a strike length of 600 m with three parallel sulphide lenses present to a vertical depth of 200 m. Drilling is currently under way to test a deep lens of sulphides at the 900-m horizon.
Other partners in the Hanson Lake joint venture are operator Cameco, (50%), and Esso Minerals (25.5%).
