The Society of Mining Engineers (American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers) is sponsoring a forum titled Small Mines Development in Precious Metals Aug 30-Sept 2 in Reno, Nev.
A program covering geology and ore reserves, low-cost processing, financing and economics, environmental concerns and other topics will be presented. A visit to fmc Corp.’s open pit gold property near Gabbs, Nev., has been arranged.
