Bolivar doubles mill capacity

Bolivar Goldfields (BVG-T) will double, to 1,400 tonnes, the daily capacity of the mill it bought in Venezuela last June.

The refurbished Revemin mill will continue to process gold ore. Bolivar says the mill should be fully operational and running at a recovery level of 96% by mid-1999.

Since the mill purchase, Bolivar has produced 11,138 oz. gold from 78,885 tonnes of ore grading 5 grams per tonne. The mill’s current capacity is 700 tonnes per day.
