LABRADOR NEWS ROUNDUP — Cdn. States Gas to drill anomalies

Drills are turning at a property 80 km northwest of Voisey Bay and owned by Canadian States Gas (CDN). The company has followed up on anomalies detected in airborne electromagnetic surveys, with ground magnetics and electromagnetics.

The company will be drilling strong conductors that coincide with high total-field magnetism. Earlier sampling (T.N.M., Aug. 7/95) located gossan outcrops with nickel values of up to 1.8%.
