The National Advanced Drilling and Excavation Technologies institute is requesting proposals for projects that would reduce drilling costs.
The institute is a research and development consortium supported by U.S. government and private funds.
About US$1 million will be available for first-year programs, and 6-8 grants could be provided. Prospectuses from individuals, universities, corporations, and laboratories must be received by April 8.
