Assays are expected shortly from several additional holes drilled by Canadian States Resources (CDN) at its 1514M claim block in Labrador.
In the meantime, however, the company says the previously released assays performed by Chauncey Laboratories of Toronto (T.N.M., Oct.2/95), have been checked and verified by several other Canadian labs, “and were found to be within acceptable industry standards”.
The check assays performed by X-Ral Laboratories from holes 2 and 3 (AW-size core from a portable prospecting drill) are listed below.
The previously reported nickel values from these intervals, as performed by Chauncey Labs, are 2%, 1.72%, 1.98% and 2.14%, respectively.
Canadian States Gas now has two drills operating on its G zone, drilling holes 8 and 9. The split core from holes 5, 6 and 7 are now in for analysis, and results are expected shortly.
