Two TSE-listed juniors — Exall Resources and MacMillan Gold — intend to explore and develop a large gold prospect in southern Guyana.
Known as the Wakadanawa, the 60,000-acre property lies in a relatively unexplored greenstone belt. In the same region is Sutton Resources’ (VSE) Marudi Mountain deposit, which contains an estimated 700,000 oz. gold. MacMillan and Exall can each earn a half interest in the project, provided the former funds the first phase of exploration, in which the latter will act as operator.
Under way is a program of regional geochemistry, geological mapping and sampling of known gold-bearing horizons and old workings. Upon completion of this work, all subsequent costs will be shared equally.
