Quartz Mountain to drill TAY-LP

An exploration program to consist primarily of drilling is slated to begin early next year on the TAY-LP claims held by Pacific Comox Resources (VSE). The company acquired its interest in the claims from Cominco (TSE) which retains a back-in right to a 30% interest. The property is near Canamax Resources’ Ketza River gold mine in the Ross River area of the Yukon.

Pacific Comox completed a 6-hole drilling program in 1988, with results including 0.31 oz. gold over 2 ft. and 0.17 oz. over 17 ft.

The 1991 work program will be carried out by Quartz Mountain Gold (TSE) under the terms of a joint venture with Pacific Comox.
