Hemlo hits gold in Sugar zone

Hemlo Gold Mines (TSE) has drilled 0.5 oz. gold per ton over 12.5 ft. on the White River project near Ontario’s Hemlo camp.

The company is earning a half interest in the project. Partners Akiko Gold Resources (VSE) and Gold Giant Minerals (VSE) each will retain 25%. The first phase of drilling consisted of six holes totaling 2,624 ft. It was done to test a section of the Sugar zone which has a known strike length of 11,152 ft.

A second-phase will follow surface stripping, mapping, and geophysical and geochemical surveys.
