Corona earns stake in Iskut claims

On its own, Corona has entered into formal agreements with Link Resources (VSE) to acquire a 50% interest in two properties in the Iskut River ar ea about 70 m iles northwest of Stewart, B.C. Link is part of the Prime group of companies.

Corona crews began work on the properties in late June and have to date covered most of the 80,000- plus acres with first pass stream sampling and prospecting.

Several mineralized zones are reported to have carried high grade gold, silver , copper, lead and zinc values. Detailed mapping is now under way to define the nature and extent of the various showings.

The two properties consist of five claim groups. Corona can earn its interest in the Hoodoo and Inhini property by cash payments totalling $375,000 and by inc urring exploration expenditures of not less than $1.5 million by the end of 1992.

Corona can earn its interest in the McLymont, Snippaker and Iskut property by cash payments of $275,000 and through exploration expenditures of not less than $1 million.
