Malartic gains Val d’Or gold property from Audet

The property hosts four gold- bearing shear zones with grades of up to 0.156 oz per ton. Although considered a gold property by Malartic, the properties will also be explored for base metal potential.

Malartic can earn a 100% interest by paying $200,000 to Audet and spending $500,000 over the next five years. Work is scheduled to begin immediately.

The claims will continue to be known as the Audet property.
