Golden Myra gets nickel play

In the Goudreau area northeast of Wawa, Ont., Myra has encountered gold mineralization in a 20,000-ft drill program completed on its property.

Anomalous gold values of at least 0.01 oz per ton were assayed in 17 of 44 holes completed. Of 24 holes drilled to test targets 1,300 ft north of the Pine Lake claim, assays ranged from 0.01 oz to a high of 0.849 oz gold across 5 ft.

Drilling of targets near the Michael shaft yielded assays of 0.03 oz to 1.2 oz gold across widths of 3.3 ft. Another hole on the Pine Lake claim, which was drilled to test for extensions of the Lochalsh gold deposit controlled by Canamax Resources, intersected 3.3 ft grading 0.41 oz gold. Canamax’s Lochalsh property is located immediately west of Golden Myra’s claims.
