Toronto-listed NovaGold Resources reports intersecting 11.9 ft of gold mineralization grading 0.407 oz gold per ton on the Summit property in New Mexico. The intersection was part of a larger 91.9-ft section which averaged 0.108 oz, according to Dr Allan Juhas, vice-president of U.S. operations.
The hole, No 9 in a 15,000-ft program, was drilled into a vertical ore shoot, located about 500 ft below old mine workings.
Results from two other holes included 5.3 ft grading 0.174 oz and 60.3 ft of 0.094 oz material.
