The NWT diamond project of Dia Met Minerals and BHP Minerals will be discussed at the next meeting of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy & Petroleum, to be held Thursday, Feb. 20 at 12 noon at Toronto’s Ontario Club.
George Poling, a director of Dia Met Minerals, will speak on all aspects of the project and its development, including the environmental and socio-economic review, construction and the mine plan.
Also to be discussed are the impact and benefits agreements signed with five local aboriginal nations.
