INSIDER TRADING — Northfield directors trade common shares

Three directors of Northfield Minerals (TSE) traded common shares of the company in March.

According to the Ontario Securities Commission’s OSC Bulletin, Robert Cudney, director, bought 25,000 shares privately at 80 cents and sold 24,000 shares at 68-73 cents to hold 84,600 shares.

Thomas Larsen, director and senior officer, bought 7,000 shares at 71 cents and sold 30,000 shares at 70-73 cents to hold 352,831 shares.

Francis Suave, director, sold 15,000 shares at 70-71 cents to hold 683,500 shares.

Aber Res. (TSE) — Jordan Ethans, director and senior officer, exercised options and bought 40,000 shares at $1.83-$2.25 and sold 90,000 shares at $8.38-$8.50 to hold 33,334 shares.

Agnico-Eagle Mines (TSE) — John Clement, a director and senior officer, exercised options and bought 10,000 shares at $4.95 and sold 10,000 shares at $17-$17.25 to hold 2,120 shares. Wencel Hubacheck, director and senior officer, sold 1,000 shares at $16 and an additional 2,000 shares at US$11-$12.13. Hubacheck also exercised options and purchased 2,000 shares at $4.95 to hold 1,000 shares.

Barrick Gold (TSE) — Louis Baertl, senior officer, exercised options and bought 5,000 shares at $18.19 and sold 5,000 shares at $33.88 to hold no shares and 145,000 options.

El Condor Res. (VSE) — Ronald Thiessen, director, sold 65,558 shares at $3 to $4.50 privately and an additional 10,000 shares at $3.60 to $3.80 in the open market. Thiessen holds 382,501 shares.

Freewest Resources (TSE) — Malcolm Slack, director, sold 23,800 shares in the open market at $1.21 to hold no shares.
