Drills set to turn at DKO property

Drilling will begin shortly on the DKO gold property near Kirkland Lake, Ont.

Findore Minerals (CDN) and its joint-venture partner, International Homestead Resources (VSE), aim to intercept at depth the auriferous zone identified during earlier shallow-drilling programs.

The property is just south of the Victoria Creek gold discovery of Sudbury Contact Mines (TSE), which is hosted in as many as 20 east-west-trending gold zones.

The past-producing Upper Canada gold mine (1.5 million oz. produced) lies just south of the DKO.
