Drilling tests Stockade Mountain

Carlin Gold (ASE) has released results from seven reverse circulation holes drilled to test a structural zone on the Stockade Mountain project in eastern Oregon.

The assay of the drill cuttings followed the recent signing of a joint-venture agreement between Carlin and a unit of Placer Dome (TSE). The land package covers 14 square miles along a northwest-trending structure within seven miles of altered and mineralized ground.

The drilling returned relatively low-grade gold values, including 140 ft. of 0.007 oz. gold per ton from 220 to 360 ft. Other results are 55 ft. of 0.006 oz. gold and 35 ft. of 0.01 oz. gold.
