Discussing last week’s congressional election results, Business Week says: “The business outlook has been immensely strengthened by the election results. Businessmen are divided between the Democratic and Republican camps, but the great majority in both are anxious for a more conservative trend in public affairs. Whether in the House, the Senate, or the state capitals, these gains have equalled or exceeded the hopes of the Republican leaders.”
