Belore pleased with Meat Cove assays

Trenching results from the Meat Cove property have returned several encouraging assays, Belore Mines (ASE) says. Held under option from United Reef Petroleum (TSE), the Meat Cove property is located on Cape Breton Island.

Trench assays include 5.46% zinc across 19.5 ft and 18.9% zinc across 22.7 ft, Belore says. The exploration program will include underground rehabilitation and diamond drilling.

Based on drilling completed in the 1950s and 1970s, Meat Cove hosts indicated reserves of four million tons grading 4% zinc per ton. Cadmium values up to 0.076% per ton have also been assayed.
