San Gold drills Bissett project

Winnipeg Stock Exchange-listed San Gold Resources (SGR-W) is encouraged by results from an ongoing drill program at its Bissett area gold project in northern Manitoba.

Results from recent drilling include: 48 ft. grading 0.14 oz. gold per ton, which includes 8 ft. of 0.22 oz. and 12 ft. of 0.36 oz.; and 31 ft. of 0.12 oz. These intersections tested the mineralized zone below a vertical depth of 1,000 ft.

Mineralization is in a shear zone that follows along the footwall contact of a diabase sill. It is believed to be the eastern extension of diabase sill hosting the adjacent, past-producing San Antonio gold mine (recently purchased by Harmony Gold of South Africa). San Gold is also stripping a surface zone on its property in order to extract a 10,000-ton bulk sample.
