Valerie drills Walker Lane

A drill program by Valerie Gold (VLG-V) is testing the junior’s Walker Lane gold property in Nevada’s Mineral Cty.

The project is situated on the productive east side of the Walker Lane mineralized trend, near the past-producing Paradise Peak gold-silver mine, which turned out 1.6 million oz. gold and 24.3 million oz. silver at an average cost of US$58 per oz. between 1984 and 1994.

The initial program will consist of eight angled, reverse-circulation holes totalling 1,200 metres, focused in an area where quartz veins were uncovered during recent road construction. The veins are reported to be multi-stage, with granular quartz, followed by quartz-adularia-sulphides, followed by drusy quartz and sulphides, and possibly supergene alunite and jarosite.
