Kookaburra exploring Hidden Valley property

Work is scheduled to begin shortly on the Hidden Valley property, 25 miles west of Smithers, B.C., and owned by Kookaburra Gold (VSE). Kookaburra plans trenching, sampling, prospecting and electromagnetic surveys on the property to determine drill targets.

Previous work has identified epithermal style precious and base metal veins traversing the property along steep structures. The veins host arsenopyrite, galena, chalcopyrite, tetrahedrite and locally massive pyrite in a quartz-carbonate- barite gangue. The company notes that selected samples run up to 0.38 oz. gold and 10 oz. silver per ton.
