On the move (November 02, 1990)

Ralph Denholm has been appointed to the position of service manager for Nordberg Machinery in Guelph, Ont. Denholm has been with Nordberg since 1969, most rcently as materials manager. This newly created position reflects Nordberg’s commitment to customer service, the company says. Also, Brad Tuckett has joined the company as applications specialist and Larry Erlendson has been promoted from sales support manager to district manager for Ontario

Joseph Trachtenberg has been elected president and chief operating officer of Victaulic Co. of America. He succeeds George Naumann who will continueas chairman and chief executive officer. Trachtenberg will be responsible for the mechanical piping products portion of the company’s operations.

George Shipley has been appointed mining engineer for the pump division of Peacock Inc. in Mississauga, Ont. Shipley has more than 35 years experience in the Canadian mining industry, including selling, marketing and engineering a wide range of equipment.

Harold Wyslouzil has been appointed senior metallurgical engineer at the column cell technology division of Cominco Engineering Services. Prior to joining Cominco Engineering, Wyslouzil held senior operating positins with Rio Algom and Noranda Minerals. He has been involved in column flotation for more than nine years.

Dresser Valve &&Controls’ Canadian operations has appointed Shelby Laczo as senior account manager in Dresser’s Edmonton office.
