Abior, Soquem in option deal

Montreal-listed Explorations Abior can earn a 50% interest in an 18-claim diamond property in the Desmaraisville area of northwestern Quebec, near Le Tac Twp.

The deal is part of an option agreement with Quebec Crown mining exploration company Soquem.

To earn the interest, Abior must spend $650,000 by June 3, 1996. Soquem must spend $50,000 subscribing to Abior’s capital stock, at 20 cents per share. Abior, which has been inactive, is being re-organized by the Vior-Mazarin group. The new president of Abior is Andre Gaumond.
