Casino drilling continues in Yukon

With the drills still turning on the Casino copper-gold property in the Yukon, Pacific Sentinel Gold (VSE) has expanded its budget for this year’s work by $3 million to a planned total of $10.2 million.

The company has six drills operating on the property and has completed 44 large-diameter holes for a total of 60,241 ft.

Drilling has outlined a deposit measuring about 3,600 ft. north-south by 5,000 ft. east-west with room for lateral expansion in all directions. Geotechnical, environmental and metallurgical studies, as well as drilling, are to continue until late in the year.

Average results from mineralized holes within the deposit area are as follows: Zone Interval Copper Molybdenum Gold

Supergene 169 0.48 0.049 0.014
