Gregor drilling tests Marathon gold project

A 12,000-ft. program has begun on Gregor Goldfields’ (CDN) Marathon gold project, near Hemlo, Ont.

The drilling is intended to test the strike length, width, depth and continuity of five known gold-bearing zones.

Previous drilling returned intersections ranging from 0.03 to 0.30 oz. gold per ton across widths of 2-30 ft.

The company is fully financed to complete the program, which is estimated to cost more than $400,000.
