NEWS ROUNDUP — Ballatar to test near Sleeper mine

The AR claims next to Amax Gold’s Sleeper mine in Nevada will be tested this summer by 5,000 ft. of reverse circulation drilling, Ballatar Explorations (VSE) reports.

The company hopes to intersect potential extensions of high-grade veins on the claims immediately south of Sleeper. William Utterback, a former Amax Gold geologist who worked for several years at Sleeper, will supervise the drilling.

Ballatar can earn up to 100% of the Slumbering Hills project by funding exploration and issuing cash and stock to Freegold Recovery (VSE). Once Ballatar earns its interest, Freegold will retain a 3% net smelter return.
