Partners Northern Abitibi Mining (ASE) and Hixon Gold Resources (VSE) have started drilling on the Isle Dieu property, about 9.3 miles from the Mattagami Lake mill in northern Quebec. The first phase of the drilling program, consisting of two or three holes (3,000 ft.), will test a strong off-hole geophysical response identified on the property last year.
Abitibi says the anomaly may represent a large massive sulphide deposit about 100-150 ft. from hole 90-4.
